UNISA Applications are open from 1 September to 14 October 2022 for all undergraduate qualifications.
Unisa’s application window for the 2023 academic year will be available from 19 August 2022, giving first time students an opportunity to reserve their seats. Undergraduate applicants can submit their applications from 1 September to 14 October 2022. University of South Africa
Deadline:
The application closes on 14 October 2022 for all Undergraduates qualifications. We, therefore, encourage prospective students (Undergraduates) to apply online or paper-based application forms. ( Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted – please apply during the application cycle before the closing date to ensure your application is considered.)
UNISA Application Dates 2023 for All Qualifications:
- Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees): 1 September – 14 October 2022
- Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas: 1 September – 14 October 2022
- Master’s & doctoral qualifications: 11 September – 14 November 2022
UNISA Late applications for 2023:
The University of South Africa (UNISA) Late application will be considered if only there are available spaces in the programmes you want to study.
The University of South Africa offers admission to a limited number of students per programme. Therefore we would advise you to apply within the application cycle so that your application will be accepted and processed by the school.

All applications for admission must be submitted online during the prescribed application period.
Applicants who plan to enrol for classes at a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college under the Unisa-TVET agreement may apply via the relevant TVET college or at Unisa via the online or self-help options.
Unisa will inform you of the outcome of your application. If successful, Unisa will indicate for which qualification you have been accepted and will offer you a space for the period for which you have applied ( semester 1 and 2 of 2023).
