• Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2024 (some exceptions apply).

Unisa 2025/2026 Applications Date For Short Learning Programmes:

• Applications and registrations for short learning programmes for the 2025 academic year will open in November 2024. This website will be updated as information becomes available. Please visit this site regularly for updated information.

UNISA First Semester Registration Extension 2025

• The deadline for registering for semester modules has been moved up to February 4, 2025.
• The deadline for making the minimum payments for the semester modules is set for February 4, 2025.

UNISA Second Semester Registration Period 2025/2026

• Semester 2 applications for selected master’s and doctoral qualifications (some exceptions apply) are open from June 28th to 19th July.
• Semester 2 registration for undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas is open from June 28th to 19th July(semester modules only).
• Semester 2 registration for MBA and MBL qualifications is open from June 28th to 19th July (semester modules only).
• Semester 2 registrations for Short Learning Programmes open from 14 May to 19 July

Documents Needed When Applying For Admission At Unisa For 2025/2026

Applicants wishing to begin a new programme should upload all the needed supporting documents, which include:

• A copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport, for international students only
• Sworn translation of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
• A copy of your school qualifications, Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate
• A copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
• A copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if necessary)

Online Application Process For Unisa 2025/2026

The majority of UNISA 2025 admissions applications are submitted online. Follow these procedures to submit an online application:
