The University of South Africa (Unisa) has stated that they are not going to accept any late applications or documents that will be submitted after the closing date for application. For this matter, if you want to apply for admission to 2021-2022 academic year, you have to re-apply during the next application period prescribed by Unisa. The reasons why is that Unisa always want to deals with “first come, first serve”. That is why we always encourage everyone who wish to apply to study at Unisa to join the early bird applicants in other for your application to reach the authorities of the institution on time.
University of South Africa (UNISA) can only accept application for admission to 2021 applicants if only there are available spaces in programmes or qualification in which they wants to study.
For this reasons, you are always required to apply within the application dates that has been given or prescribed by Unisa to avoid any late application since all applications that are submitted after the application closing date for 2021-2022 academic year will be rejected by the University.

Unisa Registration for 2021-2022
Registration to Undergraduate, honours and postgraduate diplomas dates:
Semester modules: 5 January – 12 February 2021
Year modules: 5 January – 11 March 2021
Registration to Master’s & doctoral qualifications dates:
5 January – 31 March 2021 (some exceptions apply)
