The University of South Africa (Unisa) online registration closing date for 2023-2024 academic year (First semester & second semester) has been published on Unisa official website: www.unisa.ac.za registration 2023 close on specific dates. All students should take note of the following deadline or opening and closing dates for 2023-2024 as to Unisa will not accept Late registration for any reason.
Below is a list of Unisa online registration closing date for Undergraduate qualifications, Postgraduate diplomas, Honours degrees, Masters & Doctoral qualifications in 2023 : Unisa Registration Closing Date 2023-2024
- Unisa Undergraduate qualifications (Higher certificates, diplomas & degrees, advanced certificates, advanced diplomas, BTechs & postgraduate certificates) for New and Currently Returning Students:
- New students for under-subscribed qualifications in CAES & CSET:
- All students who are waiting results for the first (1) semester and additions:
- Unisa Honours degrees & Postgraduate diplomas ( Excluding the Postgraduate certificate in Education, PGCE): Registration for these qualifications can only be submitted online
- New & Currently Returning students for qualifications with the semester modules:
- Students awaiting their results for qualifications with semester modules:
- Unisa Masters and Doctoral degrees (Master’s & doctoral qualifications:
- Doctor of Business Leadership (DBL), Master of Business Leadership (MBL), and Master of Business Administration (MBA) qualifications:
- Registration for MCompt degree:
- Please Note; All School of Business Leadership (SBL) students can register online except those with a 7-series students number. All students with a 7-series students number are encouraged to contact the Graduate School of Business Leadership for help with re-registration on www.unisa.ac.za/sbl.
- With Exceptions: Only First-time registering students can register after the approved registration dates given by Unisa and Re-registering students are allowed to register during the prescribed registration period.

The registration dates and times for all qualifications has been published on Unisa website. Please visit: www.unisa.ac.za/register for more details.
Applicants, i.e, new applicants & Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification should only register if they have received a notification to accept an offer of placement from Unisa and have been able to accept the offer online. If you were not admitted in the right way, Unisa has the right to cancel your registration.
Those who are re-registering should register online for the 2023-2024 academic year during the necessary registration period given by the institution.
