Semester 2 registration for undergraduate qualifications & honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas (with semester modules) will close for new and returning students at 18:00 on  28 June 2022: www.unisa.ac.za/register

Registration for students awaiting results will re-open on 16 July 2022 and will close on 8 August 2023.

The final date for initial minimum payment so that your registration can be finalised remains 8 August 2022.

Registration for 2023

Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, diplomas & degrees, advanced certificates, advanced diplomas, BTechs & postgraduate certificates), honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas:

• Semester & year modules (including CTA) : 3 January – 1 February 2023
• Students writing year module exams in January/February 2020: 3 January – 7 March 2023

Master’s & doctoral degrees: 3 January – 29 March 2023 (with some exceptions)

Students may also register for semester 2 modules during this time if there are no pre-requisite criteria for the modules they desire to take.

During the specified application period, all admissions applications must be submitted online.

As previously announced, registration for the second semester begins in June 2022 and ends in July 2022.

Now is the time to apply for NSFAS Trimester and Semester Study.
NSFAS applications are now open for TVET College students enrolled in Trimester and Semester programs.
This application period will end on April 30th.
For students who are able to apply for themselves, applications must be made online at www.nsfas.org.za.
