Is Nursing Offered at Unisa in 2025/2026? Everything You Need to Know:

The University of South Africa (UNISA) does not offer nursing as a direct undergraduate or postgraduate qualification. There is an undeniable demand for nursing programmes. The demand for qualified personnel is rising as the healthcare sector expands. It is not allowed to register for more than the maximum number of credits/modules per academic year and/or semester—60 credits per semester or 120 credits per academic year.

Exams taken as part of the aegrotat or additional requirements of a previous semester do not count towards the maximum number of credits. Modules taken for non-degree or non-diploma purposes are also included towards the maximum number of credits allowed.
