UNISA uses the Admission Point Score (APS) system, like many other institutions. The APS system makes sure that students have the fundamental skills and aptitude necessary for success before they begin a programme. This is especially important for the teaching field because it guarantees that aspiring teachers are prepared for the rigours of the job.
