When Can I Register For A Higher Certificate At Unisa 2024/2025

Registration is currently open for both Undergraduate qualifications (Higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, BTech & degrees, including the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at  Unisa for the academic year 2024-2025. Begin your registration for Higher  Certificate courses by the following dates:

• Semester modules: 8 January 2024 – 2 February 2024
• Year modules: 8 January 2023 – 2 February 2024
• Master’s and doctoral: 8 January 2024 – 30 March 2024 (some exceptions apply)
• Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Business Leadership (MBL) and Doctor of Business Leadership (DBL) qualifications: 8 January 2024 to 2 February 2024

Registration Periods:

UNISA offers multiple registration periods throughout the year to accommodate a wide range of learners. • Semester 2 registrations for Short Learning Programmes open from 22 May to 14 July 2024
• Semester 2 registration for undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas is open from 3 – 28 July 2024 (semester modules only).

Who Can Register for Higher Certificate At Unisa

• Applicants (new applicants & Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification) may only register if they have received an offer of placement from Unisa and have accepted the offer online. Unisa reserves the right to not process and/or cancel your registration if it is found that you were incorrectly admitted to a qualification.
• Re-registering students may register for the 2024 academic year once the registration period opens.

Please note: Should you wish to start a new qualification, please apply online for the alternative qualification during the prescribed application period.
