Unisa Admission Standard 2024/2025

  • Applicants must meet all entrance standards, including a minimum APS score of 20, and be eligible for admission to degree studies, in order to enrol in a degree program. Where applicable, applicants with an APS score of 20 to 24 will be considered for the extended 4-year degree program.

University Of South Africa Application For Admission Requirements For 2024/2025

Applicants are to provide the following documents when applying for admission at Unisa for 2024:

  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC) validated by Umalusi with an accomplishment grade of 3 (Moderate Achievement, 40-49 per cent) or better in four recognized NSC 20-credit topics is the minimum qualification for entrance to undergraduate diploma studies.
  • The average National Senior Certificate score for all students at your school over a five-year period is used to calculate the school disadvantage score.
  • Poor-performing schools will receive a maximum of 10 points, while high-achieving institutions will receive a minimum of 0 points.
