When will I Receive Confirmation That I Have Completed my Qualification In 2025?

  • After the exam results are published, the student’s final report will be checked by the administrator. Student admission and registration to confirm qualification completion before changing qualification status from her senior year to completion.

The audit will be completed as soon as possible after the publication of the audit results. Until the exam is completed, the certificate of study will show ‘qualification incomplete’ or ‘graduation year.

When To Expect Your UNISA Degree Certificate In 2025/2026

  • The day of the graduation ceremony is when the students get their certificates. On the day of/following graduation, certificates for one- and two-year qualifications will be available. Students who graduate in absentia will receive emails and text messages letting them know when and where to pick up their diplomas.

How DI Obtain My Degree Certificate From Unisa 2025

follow these steps to obtain your certificate at UNISA After completing your course of study

  • Please send your email to hallc@unisa.ac.za.
  • Include letter confirming your student number and contact information, certified copy of your ID, copy of your certificate, and your documents. You will receive this document in PDF format.
  • Please be aware that Unisa doesn’t have access to digital copies of certificates.

How Long Can It Take to Earn a Degree at Unisa?

  • 360-credit certification (three-year degree or certificate) takes eight years to accomplish. 480-credit qualification (four-year degree) takes ten years to accomplish.

Who Is Qualified For UNISA Graduation 2025/2026

Students who have completed a three-year diploma, postgraduate diploma or a bachelor, honours, master’s or doctoral degree will be invited to attend a graduation ceremony.

  • Students who have completed a postgraduate certificate or an undergraduate (one or two-year) diploma or certificate will be awarded their qualifications in absentia. This means that your qualification is awarded in your absence and your certificate will be posted under registered cover within two weeks of the ceremony.
